About Me

Hi, I’m Abbie, I live in a converted water mill in Lower Halstow, Kent with my partner Paul and our 2 trusty canine sidekicks, Sadie and Ted. I am a keen quizzer, gin lover and boxset binger. I’ll be first on the dance floor and love a lie in on a Sunday morning with a good book and a coffee.

After 20 years working in the construction industry I decided it was time for a plot change. I realised there must be more to life than spending 50 hours a week sitting in a stuffy office, and in fact life should be all about love, actually! What better career than a trained celebrant where every day I get to celebrate love and life.

I took part in a residential training course with the International College of Professional Celebrants and since then I haven’t looked back. Although I am based in Kent I am happy to travel to Essex, London, Hertfordshire, Sussex or perhaps further afield (for an additional fee i could even be persuaded to join you in the Maldives😉)
