A registrar is employed by the local authority and can conduct ceremonies in registry offices or licensed venues using specific wording. As a celebrant I will spend time getting to know you and write a unique ceremony to reflect you as a couple. We will work together to create a beautiful day that will really express who you are.

No, at the moment you will need to complete the legal formalities in a registry office before the ceremony. This can be done very easily in about 10 minutes with just the 2 of you and 2 witnesses and costs £57 currently in Kent (costs may vary slightly in other areas.)

Your ceremony can be at a venue of your choice (it doesn’t need to be a licensed venue, you just need permission to be there). Whether you want a castle, a barn, a beach or a garden, we can work together to make your day special.

Yes, if you book a rehearsal with your wedding venue I am happy to attend, if that is not possible we can practice via zoom/teams/google meet. I will make sure you are happy and comfortable with it all before the big day.

Absolutely! Pets, kids, grandparents or anyone else can be included in your ceremony if you choose.

Yes you can! If you would like to include a religious element that is not a problem, it’s your day.

The only limit is your imagination! If your dream is to have a wedding party dressed as stormtroopers or include an ABBA flashmob, we can make it happen. I aim to give you a memorable occasion that really reflects you and will leave a lasting memory for all those that attend.
